Our Programs

Five ways we walk with the youth.

Each program targets a moment that quietly decides a future — and surrounds it with mentors who care, structure that holds, and tools that travel.

Program 01

Smart Choices Mentoring

Mentoring is the heart of what we do. Through one-on-one and small-group conversations, mentors help young people work through the choices that shape their lives — peer pressure, identity, who to walk with, and what to walk away from.

  • Honest conversations grounded in real life
  • Guidance for parents, especially single parents raising young men
  • Long-term relationships, not one-off meetings

Program 02

Life Lesson Field Trips

Some lessons can't be taught in a room. We take youth into the world — to workplaces, civic institutions, businesses, and community spaces — so they can see futures they didn't know existed and meet people who lived choices they're considering.

  • Career exposure across industries
  • Cultural and civic experiences that broaden the lens
  • Debrief conversations that turn outings into insight

Program 03

Job Interviewing & Job Search

For many young people, the job interview is the first formal conversation with an adult outside the family — and it counts. We coach the practical: how to walk in, how to dress, how to answer, how to follow up, and how to keep going after a no.

  • Mock interviews with feedback
  • Resume basics and application strategy
  • How to present in person and online

Program 04

Senior Year Funding Assistance

Senior year of high school carries a quiet stack of expenses — caps, gowns, fees, photos, application costs, the trip nobody wants to miss. We provide direct funding assistance so a student's last year of school doesn't get smaller because of money.

  • Help with senior-year fees and milestones
  • Application and college-prep support
  • Direct, dignified, no-fanfare assistance

Program 05

Taking Time — Listening & Guidance

Sometimes the most useful thing an adult can do is sit down, slow down, and listen. We make space for the conversations that don't fit neatly into a program — the questions, the doubts, the things a young person hasn't told anyone yet.

  • Open-door conversations on the youth's terms
  • Guidance without judgment
  • Connection to the right next person, when needed

Know a young person who needs this?

Or want to be the adult who shows up? Let's talk.
